My mission is to help others connect with their highest potential. That spark, once ignited will light their path and shed light on those they touch.
Barbara McIntyre has practiced acupuncture in the Seattle area since 1996. She graduated from Bastyr University with a Masters in Science and is a licenced acupuncturist in Washington State. She is nationally certified by the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine,or the NCCAOM.
Barbara specializes in subtle energy treatments with tuning forks and hands on work. This work is well suited to children. Some of the imbalances that may benifit from this work are, asthma, ADD and ADHD, and also as support for children going through stressful changes beyond their control.
Barbara is married and lives with her family in Bothell, Washington. She has two sons and volunteers her time to local schools and community projects.
My particular interest is in helping clients to find an overall sense of well being. This feeling is experienced in those moments when the body, mind, and spirit are aligned. We are dynamic beings in constant motion so this state of being is not a destination, rather it is a touch point, a point of reference which can be reached with increasing frequency as we become aware of our unique inner landscape and our relationship to the outer world. It is possible to experience a dis-ease and through the process of listening to the body, experience healing on a profound level. To this end, I have studied with some of the best teachers of this deep tradition:
